Frequently Asked Questions

Which treatment is right for me?

A thorough intake assessment will help determine which treatment would be the best fit. Dr. Phillips works collaboratively with each client to identify needs, goals, and develop a treatment plan.

Telehealth or in-person options?

Dr. Phillips offers primarily telehealth services with limited sessions available in-person on Tuesdays in mid-town Manhattan. All telehealth sessions are conducted over HIPPA-compliant Zoom to ensure patient privacy. After an initial intake session, Dr. Phillips will collaborate with you on treatment planning and determine if telehealth would be a good fit.

Cost and insurance?

Dr. Phillips is an out-of-network provider and does not accept insurance at this time. Please discuss with your insurance company to determine if you have out-of-network benefits. Sliding scale fees are available on a limited basis for those in need of financial support.

How is payment handled?

Please contact Dr. Phillips for information about fees for services. Payments for sessions are collected on the date that session is held and are accepted in the form of credit card. Dr. Phillips has a 24-hour cancellation policy. Sessions cancelled without 24-hours notice will be charged at the full session rate.

Are you accepting new clients?

Dr. Phillips will be accepting new clients in January 2025. You are welcome to reach out in advance to schedule your initial appointment.
